Welcome to Teach AZ Science

This is an online environment to promote the teaching of science in Arizona. It includes:

• Descriptions of each major strand of the AZ Science Standards
• Links to Web resources (videos, photos, informational sites, interactive activities or lessons, etc.) that help teachers
• • gain content area knowledge
  • teach science in a way that is more engaging and empowering for K-12 learners
•  Strategies used in K-12 classrooms that are aligned with AZ Science Standards

Navigating the Teach AZ Science Wiki

Use the Navigator on the right to navigate to the folders for each major science area that is included in the K-12 AZ Science Standards. Click on any folder to locate standards in that area, then click on the grade level folder that is appropriate to your needs.  There you will find or add links to Web resources and best-practice strategies for teaching science in K-12 classrooms.
